Darkey's Truck Key Servicesis responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Darkey's is a mobile service covering Wolverhampton, Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. Privacy enquiries can be sent to help@darkeys.co.uk or made via WhatsApp at 01902 288767.

Darkey's may receive your name, mobile number, email address, registration, vehicle or truck details, location, key status, job notes, proof-of-authorisation details, and records relating to an agreed service.

The quote form sends the details to Darkey's own server only to prepare a WhatsApp message. The website does not store the form submission in an enquiry database, and nothing is sent to WhatsApp until you review and continue with the message.

Information is used to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, check authorisation, arrange attendance, provide agreed work, prevent misuse, resolve queries, and keep records required for accounting or legal purposes.

Depending on the request, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before agreeing work, performing an agreed service, meeting a legal obligation, or Darkey's legitimate interests in responding to customers, protecting vehicles and keeping proportionate business records.

Messages and contact details may be processed by communication providers used for the enquiry, including WhatsApp or Meta when you choose WhatsApp, and by email providers when you use that channel. Their own privacy information explains how they handle data on their services.

Enquiry and job information is kept only for as long as it is needed to respond, provide the service, resolve related queries, and meet applicable accounting or legal record-keeping requirements. Information that is no longer needed should be securely deleted.

You may ask for access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or restriction where applicable, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability may apply in limited circumstances.

This site does not currently use analytics, advertising pixels, or optional tracking cookies. If that changes, this notice and the site's consent controls must be updated before the tracking is enabled.
